So one of my players is gonna be a Warlock and I've been thinking about creating an Infernal patron that is allied with the Zhentarim, so he sends her through missions related with them, in order to make her join the organisation.
There's some discussion of the Zhentarim's involvement with devils in Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn. They're likely to be associated with fiends that are more money-oriented, like Glasya.

Nice! Could Glasya be a patron for a level 1 Warlock or that's too much?

Thanks for your answer! 😊
If you're the DM, that's entirely up to you.
But the Fiend subclass does give Asmodeus as an example of a possible patron, so archdevils are certainly on the table.

Hi there, Midgardians!
So one of my players is gonna be a Warlock and I've been thinking about creating an Infernal patron that is allied with the Zhentarim, so he sends her through missions related with them, in order to make her join the organisation.
Is this plausible?
That seems perfectly reasonable.

I have no knowledge of the specific lore, but any fiend can be used as a patron, even Asmodeus.

Yeah, that's true! 😊
