I'm running a campaign set on Ravnica, and one of the plotlines I'm working on involves reviving the Rakdos guildmaster...Rakdos. A bloodwitch is attempting to perform the ritual and needs the party's assistance. The ritual began with the massacre of a Rakdos troupe, and ends with the sacrifice of an angel, but I'm not entirely sure what to do to fill in the gaping chasm between points A and B. I thought of a series of tasks that would undermine the ideals of each guild (in keeping with Rakdos's theme) but dismissed that as tedious and on the cheesier side.
I'm thinking there should probably be about two objectives between the quest start and the actual capture of the angel. Obviously the party is chaotically/evilly aligned enough to perform dark acts, and this is one of the darker plot threads. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!
