So before 5th edition came out I read a few old magazines about this Orc Nation called the Kingdom of Many Arrows. It was fascinating to me that there was an entire established nation of Orcs. Fast forward to today and I read the wiki that the Kingdom is no more in the lore of the Forgotten Realms. This kinda bums me out a bit. I know this might be old news to some but do you think they should bring it back in a update or adventure?
It's kind of still there, though doesn't wield much political power.
Current campaigns are early 1490's Dale Reckoning.
The reign began back in the early 1370's and they were recognised by most ot the Silver Marches as a soverign realm, after the Orcs signed the treaty of Garumns Gorge. King Obould Many-Arrows had a peaceful approach to many of his neighbours and realised by commiting to peaceful relations elsewhere he could concentrate on the ongoing conflict with the Uthgardt barbarian tribes.
This peace was shattered some generations later, in 1484DR, when King Obould XVII was assassinated and his son Lorgru framed for the murder by the drow house Baenre, allowing the pretender Hartusk to take control and lead the orcs in bloody war against the dwarves.
The orcs were defeated at the hands of Bruenor and control eventually restored to Lorgru, who aims to continue his fathers efforts at keeping the peace from their home in Dark Arrow Keep, around 40 miles north of Mithral Hall. Dark Arrow houses something like a couple of thousand, which is still a significant Orc population.
You know, I just might add the many-arrows to my campaign. There is a region in the southeast of my map that i dubbed "The Orclands". I'm glad you're here lol

Possibly the Many Arrows Orcs sought refuge in Neverwinter?

o I see. So lots of opportunity for some reconstruction style outreach and peace making through joint construction projects, yes?
I'm glad there's still something left of the Many-Arrows. I like Orcs best when they're more than just Chaotic Evil ravagers.
