So forba general lore and understanding when speaking of the arch fey. On what level of power would you rank them imo and without finding information to support or dissuade. I cant help but think they are God level entities. And as such I tends to build them like this for hone brew. And maybe even cleric/pally entities. Am I wrong from a dnd story proper on this thinking. And if so/not please discuss with me.
I wouldn't say they're god-level, but they'd be close. Being warlock patrons, that puts them on par with high ranking devils or lovecraftian horrors. Warlock patrons though, in my mind, can vary in power.
Using devils as an example since they have a more hierarchical structure, your patron could be Asmodeos, the Arch Devil, who controls the 9 hells with an iron fist and has a legion of followers, or your patron could be Stan from devil-accounting, who has his eyes on moving up the hierarchy and for whom supplying a mortal follower with warlock powers represents the extent of their own power.
The same could be true of Fey, or Celestials, basically any patron but GOO.
I'd agree, an archfey isn't quite as powerful as a god, but there's not much between them. For an illustration, I'd read a short retelling of some stories from Spencer's The Faerie Queene: the titular character is, I think, the most archetypical Archfey in literature. Oberon and Titania from A Midsummer Night's Dream might be some slightly lower-powered Archfey. Remember, fey powers can be totally different from usual magic, so a fey might empower a warlock to use powers he never really uses (or cares to use) himself. Unlike gods, fey generally stay out of human affairs and prefer to have their servants do their work.
To start o am not sure if this is the best place.
