It is a land of endless terror, a land of scorching heat, a land of barren wastes. It is the Zar’roc Desert, a god-forsaken wilderness, where neither man nor beast may live. Even outlaws steer clear of this wasteland, preferring execution at the hands of the law to the horrors of the Zar’roc. However, some ancient tribes of half-devils manage to live in the deadly heat. The so-called Elven Devils are a race descended from a rarity: elves who made pacts with devils. Unlike tieflings, who are descended purely from humans, with their infernal heritage coming only from their Faustian deals, Elven Devils are half-devil, half-elf. Their elven ancestors were charmed by the devils, and married them, resulting in children who had all the evil of their devil parent, and all the beauty of their elven parent. The Nine Tribes of the Elven Devils all have souls as black as the night that they wake in, and any who show a conscience are killed without mercy.
The Devil of the Desert: Part 1 - Homeland.
Deep in the trackless, god-cursed deserts, where no-one has made it out alive, the Elven Devils make their evil communities. Living at night, as the radiant light of the sun is painful to them, they go about killing each other, raiding the communities of those who live near the desert's edge, and promoting the worship of Asmodeus, who they believe saved the world from love and forgiveness, which they believe to be the worst emotions in existence. The Unholy Nine, the nine great communities of Elven Devils are believed each be the descendants of an elf who made a deal with one of the Nine Archdevils of Baator. Each of the Unholy Nine is descended from a different archdevil, but they all revere Asmodeus as a god of their ideals of corruption and power. When a raiding party of Drow finds themselves in one of the deserts of the Nine, they recognize each other as natural enemies, as devils are constantly at war with demons like Lolth. However, like the drow, sometimes an elven devil escapes the evils of there society, and leaves into the outside world. Zarreus Naïlo is the prime example of one who left his evil homeland and headed out into the world of the good.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
So far this session, I have killed three pets, four teammates, and only hit the enemy once, and my fire bolt didn't work against a creature immune to fire. Trust me, you NEVER want to borrow my character or my dice.

A homebrew subrace that I thought of, it has a decent amount of custom lore around it.
