Hey this is a great read cannot wait for new lore to come, sorry if you have already answered this but what happed when the duergar taught the kobolds to master alchemy. Did anything come from their experiment or did they just act the same?
Hmm. It's been awhile since I wrote that lore. I remember thinking of tying kobolds to alchemy, but I might rethink that lore and have their connection to the Draconic Empire be more important. If they do keep their alchemy, I'm definitely going to connect it to dragons instead of the Duergar.
However, if I do keep the whole "Duergar taught the Kobolds how to use alchemy" lore, I'll probably justify it by saying that the Duergar wanted the Kobolds to use their alchemy to create chaos on the surface world in order to weaken the people above for invasion. But if I change it, it will likely be to tie Kobold alchemy to the chromatic dragons (Green for poison and Black for Acid mainly).

Ok thanks, also what role do artificers have in the new world order I know they created the Golmeng and probably have a role in the making and sustaining of the massive cities? Where do they stand on the psionics Vs arcane magic conflict? or are they doing their own thing in classic artificer fashion? again sorry if you have covered this at some point

- Someone once told me that it is possible to play an artificer without collateral damage. They were wrong. Without collateral damage, what is the point of playing an Artificer?
- Nothing solves a problem better than a little gnome power!

Most Artificers are from Lantanea. Lantanean artificers created the Golmeng and Felshen, have invented new types of magic items and eldritch machines (the Archgates and space stations are the main example), and many of them serve the Cypher. So, they're pretty far away from the Felyik Conflict. They haven't chosen a side any more than the Neverumbran Triumvirate has (which is to say, they are effectively neutral). If forced to take a side, they might actually side with the Sheiohn Foulen (the Felshen faction) because of the atrocities that the Yikkan Contingent has commited against them and the fact that they're responsible for their existence.
But Yikkan Contingent (the magic goblinoids) also have trained their own groups of artificers, who help them protect Kantanym (their capitol city), industrialize their settlements, and outfit their warriors with magical gear. So it's a bit complicated.
