If someone was kidnapped and raised by a hag as an apprentice/entertainment with abuse... what would the hag name said individual?
The first name that comes to mind is puppet.

You know reading it at first I was turned off but now after tossing it around as the actual name and using a false name when socializing sounds cool
Wanna throw some creepy fairy tale vibe to it you could go with "poppet"
Maybe an endearment that would be creepy in this context -- darling, treasure, etc.

BTW, I think certain words like "Precious" should send the fellow into something like PTSD.
