Hi all...wanted to share this with DnD players out there that has brought a fun addition to DMing during these times.
When my daughter and I could not see her other friends due to the pandemic, I decided to do a side campaign for just her to do and to contact some former students of mine who used to have a campaign when they were in school. I asked them if I sent them a character description of a NPC and a short set up of what was happening, they could send me back some a line or two of audio I could play during the campaign to keep it interesting. Well they took that idea and ran with it. So now it has been three meetings since that initial one and it has been such an added aspect of the game for us. I wanted to share some of them. (We are doing Ghosts of Saltmarsh...though they originally played Princes of Elemental Evil so some of the players back stories came from then).
The first one was to my daughter who is a secret agent of the Harper's Guild and runs into a fellow agent with a message.
The next one is a meeting with Gellan Primewater at his home...Keledek had just been captured by two of the players but escaped and ran to Gellan's house.
