I have run games since 1980. This year I built the tool I wanted for playing online: Virtual Battle Mat, a browser VTT. Here is a three-minute look at it.
What you are looking at: A GM creates a table and players join from a link, with no download and no account. Voice and video are built in. The tokens are renders of real 3D minis, so the table looks like miniatures on a battle mat. Flat tokens work too. Every token and every map is made by human artists. There is no rules engine, so your D&D game runs the way you run it at the table.
