Last episode, our party started to set up for the coming siege. Guard rounds on the walls, scouting runs into the fog, and traps lying around the perimeter of the fort, as well as a few surprises set up by the sponsor of the magically built fort. However idle minds are often a plague in these quiet moments. The lure of great knowledge starts to weigh uncomfortably, even at the cost of diminished vigilance. Fortunately, our heroes did not have to wait too long before the enemy tried to test the fort’s defences.

Last episode, the party faced the first skirmish of the siege. A group of priests used magic to dig under the defences of the fort and erupted in the yard. Fortunately, our own holy warrior was able to convince them to settle the encounter through a team duel. The encounter had its difficult moment when one of our adventurers was nearly obliterated by a spell, but in the end, the invading priest surrendered, as it became more and more apparent their best, could only defeat one of our heroes, maybe two if they all sacrificed themselves. The consequence of defeat being the defeated party would commit their resources to helping the victor, our adventurers now find themselves with new allies in the coming conflict.

Last episode, the party made their plans for a preemptive strike on those besieging their fort. Many options were considered, and a plan was eventually made to blow up the enemy’s war machines by sabotaging their incendiary devices. Confident of their plan, half of the party ventured into the conjured fog obscuring the field around their fort, and the other half stayed behind to guard their base. Keeping with tradition, however, plan A lasted less than a few moments and an improvised plan became the solution. Meanwhile, the enemies had also made plans to attack the base.

Last episode, the party repelled a second attempt at invading their fort. This time, arcane trickery was used to get a dozen rogues into the fort and try to steal the Exiled from under the nose of our adventurers. Fortunately, our heroes were able to prevent all the beacon from activating and the attempt ended in failure with most of the invading forces dead, in a gruesome yet angelic display of magic. By sparing the few surviving enemies, the party was able to gain a little more information on their enemies.

Last episode, the party organized a meeting with one of the guilds besieging their fort. This guild, having a friendly relationship with our rogue’s guild, agreed to engage in some negotiation. After a very honest and mostly direct conversation, a deal was struck to exchange loyalty during the coming conflict for a later favour, written, stamped, and sealed. With one more ally on the battle field, our heroes made some last-minute preparation and waited for the coming storm.

Last episode, the attack started. The enemies lunched there first wave. They knew it would be costly, however, they are all aware the longer they wait, the higher the chances they lose their prize. Volleys of arrows rained down on our adventurers as bards started to play music to inspire the troops. Fortunately, a group of bards were on the side of our heroes so in the distance, a battle of music took place as two groups of bards clashed to destroy one another while countering and attacking the other. Thanks to some help from one party member, the battle of the bards ended in favour of our adventurer. Meanwhile, at the fort, troops were making their way to the walls. Arrows and fire balls softened the defences of the wall as purple worms erupted from the ground and attacked, supported by an areal assault. For now, our heroes are holding.

Last episode, the party kept on fighting. The walls were under attack by gargantuan monsters, the enemies were trying to climb the walls, and more projectiles were lunched on and over the walls. Even after winning fights after fights, slowly the fort was losing its integrity, and with every attempt, the enemies managed to get closer. A bold decision, however, managed to turn the tide of events. One party member decided to make a coordinated attack on the command capability of the enemies and take out those coordinating the attack. The victory was then used as an intimidation tactic. The Strategy worked and the enemy operated a strategic retreat in order to regroup. Those whose moral held that is.

Last episode, the party held strong. The enemies were pushed back and both sides regrouped to prepare for a second assault. Having succeeded in demoralizing a large portion of the enemy army, the besiegers were forced to reevaluate their remaining resources. Having the ability to spy on their enemies, our heroes created a plan which involved most of their allies sneaking onboard the enemy’s flying ship and either highjack or crashing the ship. The plan worked and the ship was secured, then turned on the enemy. With their armies and plans shattered, the besiegers fled the battle field. Victory seemed to be in reach. However, one more challenge appeared on the battle field. The most dangerous and powerful hero of The Garden: Kor. An attempt was made to try and avoid this unwinnable fight but it only seemed to make Kor more eager to attack.

Join us in episode 315, as we see how our adventures hold off the most dangerous enemies they ever faced, in the hope the Exiled finishes his attunement before they all fall in combat.

Last episode, our heroes gave it all for the cause. As odds grew bleaker, their determination solidified. Unfortunately, after only a few seconds of battle, it became clear determination and fate would not be enough. So a plan was hastily made, and because of a number of good decisions throughout the siege, the plan succeeded. A price, however, seemed inevitable and one party member chose to sacrifice themselves in order for the plan to work. But fate had a different plan. Before the inevitable end came, elements aligned and a way for all to survive the battle presented itself. All that was needed was to believe, and after a brief hesitation, our adventurers did. However, where a life needs to be sacrificed, a sacrifice will always occur, and so, a person survived, but a life was destroyed.

Last episode, our party took a bit of time to digest everything that happened during the last few days. The odds were against them, and so many times, the difference between being overwhelmed and succeeding was a matter of one wrong decision. Most of our party found itself staring down death, believing dying was the only way to succeed in their greater goal. And finally, all that one of our heroes built in their life came crashing down. Now they must pick up the pieces and figure out what to do because the enemy will not stop while our heroes collect themselves.

Last episode, the party went for a little shopping spree. Money was spent, objects were commissioned, and hopefully, all of this will make their lives a little easier, if not a bit more fun. Then came the preparation for the oddest, and, in a way, the longest quest they will ever do. They prepared to spend one thousand years inside the Gem of World, so a powerful sword would be purified and become a tool for good, of immense power. What could possibly go wrong?

Last episode, the party realized they were being followed. While their pursuers were well equipped for the task, our heroes were able to take advantage of the element of surprise to elude their pursuers. However, before completely losing their opponent, our adventurers were able to learn that this may become a recurring event. Once this nuisance was dealt with, the party started their preparation to settle an old debt, which would have been easier to repay before some events took place. However what is owed remains owed so no use crying over heresy. Our heroes venture forth into the maws of serious danger in the hope of giving a rogue enough time to infiltrate and steel important documents so proof of wrong doing can be brought to light.

Last episode, the party confronted the members of our holy warrior’s previous faith. Their goal; giving enough time for a thief to infiltrate the building in order to steal evidence of the religion’s wrong doing. The followers of our champion of gods old faith met our heroes in force. Both side being unsure of the other’s intentions, the first few moments were tense. However the meeting quickly turned into a conversion contest with both faiths’ representatives trying to convince the other of the error of their way. In the end, the opposing sides had to accept a stalemate as the outcome of this encounter, and both promised a second chapter to this duel of faith. Fortunately, a successful conversion of the other was not the true goal and the hired thief was able to use the distraction to steel many documents from the head priestess chambers. Documents that can be used in more than one way to attack and weaken our holy knights’ old faith

Last episode, knowing they needed to prepare for the task of acquiring the first of tree trophies needed to prevent The Hunter from reaching their goals, the party started to prepare for the coming challenge. The first step, softening the enemy’s defences, and “coincidentally” killing the person responsible for one of our heroes’ nightmares. To that end, the eviscerated remains of a ship were scavenged for information, as well as a corpse to interrogate. With a bit of magic and a promise of a good meal to previously mentioned spellcaster, additional information was retrieved from the corpse, and a plan was hatched.

Last episode, the party dug deeper into whatever information they could find to get as much information as they could before attacking a pirate stronghold. With every new discovery, the task seems to get more challenging. The party, however, keeps getting stronger in their resolve. This task needs to be done. Too many elements seem to intertwine with the completions of this goal. So, with their resolve ever stronger, our heroes set up a meeting with an old friend to procure a way to get to their location without dying.

Last episode, the party started their expedition toward the pirates’ stronghold. Their first stop, a pick-up point where a friend sent a stealth capable ship. While there are waiting for the ship to arrive, however, our heroes are taking a few moments to gather more information on their first destination. All of this would be in vain if they were to take the wrong ship and find themselves going back to where they started, or worst, take a long detour and find themselves stuck on a ship for weeks, perhaps months, for nothing. This information-gathering mission finds them having a slightly strange conversation about fish; however, the end result is a better understanding of what ship they are looking for.

Last episode, the party hid in the ship they stowed away on. Thanks to a magical object, they were able to hide among the crates and barrels stored in the hold. During the next few days, they were able to make practice runs in the ship for what they would need to do once they arrived. Some of our heroes even took the opportunity to create chaos on the ship, manufacturing signs that the ship might be haunted. Once the ship arrived, those mischiefs earned the crew extreme punishment for suspicion of having stolen part of the treasure they were carrying. After our adventurers managed to get themselves off of the ship, they put their plans into motion and waited for an opportunity to strike.

Last episode, the party took a moment to assess the spoils of their victory. A damaged new ship, equipment from their vanquished foes, and the pirate survivors. All of which represented a lot of work and gold. With the ship under repair, a new crew manning familiarizing itself with its operation, and their equipment being sold in The Garden, our heroes decided to settle the problem of our holy knight’s nemesis. One last fight to settle all things. Fortunately, the outcome was not its worst possible resolution, and our heroes gained the favour of a holy knight regiment.

Last episode, the party began their assault on the island of the Hunter cult. A ship ment to siege cities, lead the charge, followed by several escort vessel each filled with a contingent of holy knights. Finally, many heroes from The Garden joined attack, some even betting on who would find and kill The Hunter God. The initial assault was costly as iron clad warrior droped from the sky assisted by artillery fire. However once the ground combat started, the forces evened out. Out heroes made their way through the enemy stronghold, leading a contingent of combatant. The fight went well until the enemy manifested itself.

Last episode, the party faced the avatar of the Hunter God. Angry about them being here, remembering the insult our heroes were the first time they encountered it. This time, however, the beast was fully empowered. It lashed out covering the room in shadows, and the fight started. Seemingly evenly matched until the very end, our heroes fought with all they could give, and at the end of this fight, they emerged victorious. Battered, wounded, exhausted and most likely slightly psychologically scared, our adventurers won.
