You live in a world ruled by magic. Magic that changes the landscape and teleports everyone around the first of the month. Magic that resurrects creatures that haven't been purified about one week after that. The weather changes from pouring rain to a heatwave to a blizzard all within an hour. the day of prophecy happens once a month etc. Eight days a month there are things related to magic that change the world in different ways.
