I posted this in Story & Lore, but maybe this would be a more appropriate forum! I'm a recent fan of Critical Role. I've been watching/listening from the beginning! I'm currently at episode 80 of the first campaign (just finished fight against Thordak). I bought Explorer's Guide, but hesitate to dive in for fear of spoilers. For those who know, is it "safe" versus Critical Role episode spoilers? It's going to be a while before my current game gets to a point where we will be able to use any of this, so I'm ok on holding off reading for a while if I need to.
The only Critical Role spoilers (from both campaigns) that I can think of in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount (from the top of my head) is the mention of what the Traveler (from campaign 2) is, and various references to some characters from the first campaign that mention what Vox Machina did in it, such as what happened to Draconia (which you said you've seen based on your episode place), and what VM did as a favour to a powerful entity.

Explorer's Guide to Wildemount might spoil stuff up to and including episode 50 of campaign 2. After that you're safe.
I cannot speak for campaign 1 (only just started listening today)
