if this isn’t the right place for this post, please let me know. I am curious if anyone knows what type of cameras or webcams are used by streamers for their top down views of their battle maps?
I currently DM for a party of 5 that are mostly on zoom but a few want to play in person at a limited capacity. I was thinking about using a camera to show battle maps from a top down view versus getting a tool like roll 20 or fantasy grounds due to my limited schedule.
I prefer one that has a microphone and or speaker to help pick up anyone who is in person.
You don't need anything special, just use what you currently have. If you have extra $$$$, go ahead and buy any HD webcam or HD actioncam. DSLR camera also work, but it kind a hard to set with limited space.

You dont need anything special a cellphone some form of mount to hold it and one of the numerous apps that'll connect it to a PC...that's it.
