We are now in the very late game (level 19) and are soon fighting the endboss. I noticed that if the enemies are smart (that they will be in the final fight be for sure) they will go on the wizard and just trying to kill her. In the last fight i was still on 140 hp because all went for her or the druid. My Idea would be (as a Paladin with 200 hp) to warding bond with the wizard. We got a cleric and druid who can heal in the time i go low but prob not if the wizard is low. As my concetration i want to go Circle of power to protect for the AOE spells.
Do you guys think its worth it or like a suicide mission? I would like to protect her for the Big AOEs (she is a evocation wizard). I just got the sentinal feat and at least my aura is a +4 for the saves. Vengance Paladins are not that protectiv but I think it would be the smartest thing

If its that late game and prepping for an end boss. Drop like 2000 platinum or whatever money you have basically at a temple for a scroll of "death ward" What's your "retired character" going to do with the money?

We already have death ward too! It was my plan to put this on her to give her one extra life. I am just thinking how i can protect her even im battle that she can stand a long time

Wait. You're a paladin right? 200hp... are you level 17+? yes. 19.
Cast Circle of Power. Have the druid/cleric cast things that make terrain more difficult/inhibit movement. have her stay close to you for that. and gang up on any fools trying to melee in/blitz past AoOs/etc. Let the circle of Power handle the spellcasters until they regroup and re-plan a better idea.
