I have a great map of the northwest in Storm King, and a great one of Chult in ToA. I've printed them out (yeah, plotters) and love using them.
Are there maps of similar quality out there of the west and the south? I'm running a campaign in Amn/Calimshan and the maps I'm using are 20+ years old, stuff I used back in 1e/2e days. They're OK, but I'd really like something of the quality of the WOTC released ones of these additional areas, like the Sea of Falling Stars, Dale Lands, Vaasa, Thay, etc.
Anything out there?

Ancient GM, started in '76, have played almost everything at some point or another.
I run/play Mercer-style games, heavy on the RP and interaction, light on the combat-monster and rule-lawyering. The goal is to tell an epic story with the players and the players are as involved in the world building as the GM is. I run and play a very Brechtian style, am huge into RP theory and love discussing improv and offers.
Yup, have both of these. What I want is the detail of the top one, in the scope of the bottom one. The top one stops in Amn/Turmish/Sembia.
The bottom one is the scale I want, but lacks a lot of the detail of the top one. Was hoping WOTC released one.

In some cases, the FR Poster Large (the huge image that is the second link without the links) has more detail than the Faerun map. Things like Greenest appear there but not the first. But you're right, I haven't seen anything detailing Calimshan or other areas down there. Kind of surprised actually... it would be a good setting unless there was fear of copying the Pathfinder set...
I have a giant Designjet at work, printed them all out huge, far bigger than any poster I can buy, and got them laminated, but I hate having to use 2 different ones, a high detail for the north and a poor detail for the south. My bad for setting my campaign in the south, I guess, but I have *SO* much material for that area.

I have the same. I wish everyone subscribed to the Pathfinder map philosophy. I have the Inner Seas printed out at 83x42 (if I remember correctly). Sadly, very few companies give options for large scale maps like that.
I love the one from SKT, have it 3'x4' laminated and it's great. I just run multiple campaigns all over Faerun and would like similar detail. I have the Chult map, so I have before and after the south, but not the south. Hopefully WOTC will release something in that area and a map with it. Then Thay/Damara/Vaasa, then the east, etc.
