How should I level up going forward after going rouge 5, then gloomstalker 5.
Shadar Kai (so I teleport to get away if I get in trouble) and slippers of spider climbing (so I stay away from melee). CBE & SS Feats. Use hand cross bow.
Gloomstalker the rest of the way...or dip into fighter?
Dip at least 2 Fighter, Action Surge is fantastic on Gloomstalker, and go for a full 7 in Rogue for Evasion. Evasion is incredibly good. Then take the rest Gloomstalker.
What is your rogue Subclass? Assassin can improve your nova round 1 but basically all it brings to the table. Scout could be useful. I do like the 2 round dip in fighter as the others have suggested.

Going through Vecna EOR all the way to level 20.

Yeah, I agree. Action Surge and Evasion are both great. Much better than Shadowy Dodge.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Sprry/...I have 5 levels of assassin. THinking the dip in fighter too.
Lvl 7 Assassin for Evasion
Lvl 4 Fighter either Echo knight ( 8 attacks nova in first round) or Battle Master (precision, quick toss, trip, and a mobility one)
lvl 8 Gloomstalker
(usually you reach the last advertised lvl after you finish the last Boss Fight)
So, I'm 5a/5gs now.
What order should I go in above?
I was thinking to go to 12 in Assassin( lvl 7) to get Evasion .
Then to 15 in GS for Iron mind (and maybe 8 for the ASI/feat).
Then Battlemaster.
SHould I swap it up?
Just decide which ability you want first and go with that.
