When multiclassing you are only getting part of each class, so which parts of the bard class appeal to you? and which parts of sorcerer appeal to you? Which subclass of each do you want to play? What type of play style do you want? Do you want to be a weapon-using gish as a Valor/Swords bard? Do you want to be a support/buff/debuff as a Divine Soul / Lore Bard? Do you want to be a master manipulator as a Aberrant Mind / Eloquence Bard?
The main idea here would be to use metamagic with college of lore’s ability to learn any spell in the game. Thus, you want at least six levels in College of Lore Bard and at least 3 (but preferably 4 for the asi) levels in sorcerer. I’d probably recommend draconic to help offset your low health. Good luck!

I want to create a character for D&D that is both a bard and a sorcerer, and I am looking for ideas or tips for leveling up the character.
