I'm a level five multiclasser I have two in rouge and three in cleric I wish to become stronger as I am the DPS of our party. What are your tips on getting stronger?
With that class setup, you're not the DPS in your party.
Cleric is a support class who can handle themselves ok in a fight. Rogue is a striker, yes, but it doesn't synergize particularly well with cleric. And by multiclassing, you don't have either class leveled up to where it can hold its own against the opposition you're facing at 5th level. You're lacking both third-level cleric spells and 2d6 of sneak attack.
At the moment, you're building for support/scout/skills.
If you want to be building for DPS, you need to figure out how you're getting there from here. You're probably primary rogue/secondary cleric. What features does your cleric domain and spell list give you that work well to support the rogue's thing? What rogue subclass gives you synergies with your cleric stuff? Does your DM believe that spiritual weapon counts for enabling sneak attack? If so, it might be worth using, even though it consumes the bonus actions that Rogues use to avoid getting tied down in combat.
If you want to pivot to support, you've got a decent starting point, with lots of skills for out-of-combat utility. Guidance will be your friend, as will Enhance Ability. You're probably going to be primary cleric/secondary rogue. Again, look for synergies with your subclasses.
I agree with jl8e your character is not built primarily for damage. If you really want to play a damage based character I would ask your DM if you could change to a different character
It seems like you are a new player, if that is the case I would recommend you stick to a single class. Multi class characters are either built based on synergies between the class features (not easy until you have played a few campaigns) or are entirely flavor based accepting they will not be very strong.
I would view the best classes for damage as fighter and Paladin, the fighter, Barbarians are also good if you want to be the tank. Rogues are OK if you want to stick with that, they probably deal a little less damage but 5hey make up for that by being skill monkeys. Another option would be evoker wizard and do your damage through spells.
I agree with the others. There is no way you are the DPS in your party, any full class 5th level martial, or warlock will be out DPSing you. In general multiclassing before 5th level is a bad idea and leaves you behind the rest of the party for the levels between them reaching 5th level and you reaching 5th level in either of your classes.
But assuming you didn't build this completely wrong, I'll assume you are: wearing medium armour + a shield, with a main hand rapier and using Spiritual Weapon as a bonus action. Then your best option is to take Cleric-4, take Magic Initiate and pick up Booming Blade + Green Flame Blade. That will add a 1d8 damage to your main action attack. Then take Rogue-3 to gain another 1d6 sneak attack damage, also take Swashbuckler as your subclass to make it easier to sneak attack when in melee. -> talk to your DM about allowing you to sneak attack with your Spiritual Weapon.
Next take Rogue-4 and bump your Dexterity, then take Rogue-5 for another 1d6 sneak-attack die. This brings you to 9th level.
Depending on how long you expect the campaign to last you might want to stick to Rogue until 8th level to pick up Evasion and another Sneak Attack die and max out your DEX. Or you can dip 1-Fighter for Dueling to add a +2 to your main attack (if the campaign is about to end). Or go back to Cleric-5 to pick up Spiritual Guardians.
