I was thinking I could share a brief breakdown of my druid and see if you folks have any ideas for some fun things my character can start doing every so often. Whether that's something cool in combat that I might not have thought of, a cool RP action to spice things up or catch people off guard, something I can pair with a spell/ability that I haven't thought of, etc. As you'll tell from my spell list, I generally go for crowd control in combat.
Some examples of what I mean are A) creating a weather effect and pairing with Mask of the Wild to hide, B) Using my Owl companion (via Find Familiar) to use the Help command in combat situations to give allies advantage (thanks, DawnforgedCast), etc. Without further delay, here's my character:
Level 4 Wood Elf Druid (Circle of the Shepherd)
Cantrips: Druidcraft, Guidance, Message, Minor Illusion, Mold Earth
General Spell List: 1) Entangle, Fog Cloud, Healing Word 2) Animal Messenger, Moonbeam, Pass Without Trace, Spike Growth
Doing your examples is a good start. Otherwise, i've always thought it fun when a druid shape shifts into an animal and lets another PC ride them in combat. Could be fun

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
