What level are you? You can try dispel magic if you have it prepared.
We're level 11.
Unfortunately, Wall of Force specifically cannot be dispelled by Dispel Magic.
Disintegrate is the spell capable of breaking a wall of force, or anything that would force end concentration.

RAW without teleportation or Disintegrate, there is very little you can do. You can ask your DM which spells they would allow you to cast through it, but RAW you aren't supposed to be able to cast anything through it really. Unfortunately you're a little boned because of whom the Sorcerer chose for DD, you really needed the Rogue or Barbarian to have a decent chance of breaking concentration. Or a Sleetstorm spell - perhaps the Ranger has it? Alternatively, maybe the Sorcerer has some way to incapacitate the Evil Wizard? Hypnotic Pattern, Hideous Laughter, Hold Person, Psychic Lance would all do it. The incapacitated condition breaks concentration.
Next time, you might consider just staying in the dome. While sure, you can't kill Evil Wizard, they can't hurt you either, so you can just wait it out unless there is some kind of time limit on killing Evil Wizard.

You cannot, nothing not even magic can pass through the wall, and nearly all spells require magic to travel from the caster to whatever it is targeting. If you can't cast the spell through a brick wall, you can't cast it through a wall of force for the most part.

If you look at the actual wording of most aoe spells, they tell you to choose a point within range. That technically means even behind a brick wall.

Right. Right. I just don't have too many options for that.

So a sorcerer and a ranger are unable to deal enough damage to make the Evil Wizard (TM) fail a Concentration check?
Honestly, that sounds like you need to have a chat with your GM.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
So - Evil Wizard (TM) opens the fight by hitting the party will a Wall of Force. (dome shaped)
The Ranger is able to Misty Step out of it. The Sorcerer uses Dimension Door, helping her and the Artificer escape as well.
Unfortunately, their efforts to break the Evil Wizard's (TM) concentration are going nowhere.
Our Barbarian, Rogue and Cleric are still stuck.
I'm playing the Cleric - Twilight Domain. The session was called as it fell to my turn. (Yay cliff hanger!)
And I need ideas on what to do? Moonbeam seems like an option, but it doesn't really scale well.
Thanks.

Don't you have any other damaging spells like insect plague or flame strike?

Well, no one has Disintegrate.
We tried attacking him to break concentration, but its going badly.
(He passed a Concentration check on a NATURAL TWO.)
The concentration save is based on the damage done, so you need something with high, single-turn damage.

You can cast a lot of spells through wall of force.

Hence - "Moonbeam"
No it doesn't. Read the Cover rules.
Is there any chance you have hold person prepared?
Alas, the Evil Wizard (TM) is... currently not vulnerable to that spell. :p
If I had "Hold Monster".... hey. That would be different.
If they're shapeshifted, moonbeam can force them back to humanoid form. (that won't work, will it?)
Hold Person, Hold Monster, Moonbeam, Insect Plague, Flame Strike... won't work because you can't target someone or something behind Total Cover.
Those who escape the wall of force dome, can also try to incapacitate the caster. Incapacitation breaks concentration.
Playing D&D since 1982
Have played every version of the game since Basic (Red Box Set), except that abomination sometimes called 4e.

It's the best solution, and perhaps the only one given the scenario.
