I'm trying to add patron like options to my homebrew subclass, but something's wrong and I can't even get the dropdown to show up, can anyone tell me how to solve this?
what I mean is I want to add a multitude of option for the feature to add a larger verity to the subclass, when I say patron option, my meaning is that I used that as inspiration for the feature, not that I was using the actual warlock class feature.
Gotcha. So, you added a subclass feature that you want to have options to choose from, but when you set up a character with that subclass, the drop-down for the options isn't showing up?
Did you check the "Has Options" box on the subclass feature and fill out the "Class Levels Where Options Known" field?
Also keep in mind that any changes to any homebrew things can take some time to show up in the character builder after the changes are saved — sometimes as much as 15 minutes. So, if you make a change (like adding options) and it seems like it's not doing anything, often just waiting a bit and trying again will sort it out.

Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean by "patron like options" and what exactly you're doing?
"Patron" is a term usually used for a Warlock subclass, so Warlock subclasses don't have patron options (because each subclass is a patron).
