I don't know much about coffeelock outside of what I've read and heard. But I do remember that the biggest issue with it is that it relies on converting your Pact Slots into Sorcery Points, so you can then turn those Sorcery Points into spell slots.
And a DM can easily rule that Sorcery Points can only be obtained from Sorcery magic, and therefore you can't convert Pact Slots into Sorcery Points in the first place. Although I do prefer the idea mentioned earlier that you're basically stealing magic from your patron, and they're going to be incredibly pissed at you for doing so. It has a really cool "yes, but..." flavor to it :)
