Running Curse of Strahd I realised something horrendously overpowered:
Sleep can make up to four Vamps Incapacitated (technically six with careful placement, but that is beside the point)… which is the condition needed for staking.
New Vampires of all flavours in 2024 are not immune to Exhaustion or Sleep so a first level Spell Slot used on sleep and a stake can take out a Vampire Spawn and use up Legendary resistance very quickly with hardly any resources!

D&D, Youth Work and the Priesthood sadly do not typically interact... I do what I can!
Vampire Spawn, sure. Not a given, but definitely possible, which is a potent way to take out a CR 5 creature. Other Vampires, not so much. They have pretty butch Wisdom saves, can only be Paralyzed by a stake to the heart when they're in their resting place, and 2 out of 4 of the 2024 Vampires are immune to Exhaustion (and therefore the Sleep spell).

Ah good, glad to be mostly wrong on that
I am just about to replay Curse of Strahd. This will be so helpful.

I played every class, now playing every sub-class.
You would not believe how much ADHD helps with creating campaigns!
