Very campaign dependent. It might not come up at all. But if you’ve got lots of invisible enemies, or folks — allies or enemies — throwing around darkness spells it could be invaluable. Or if you don’t have darkvision, while the rest of the party does and you’re trying to sneak up on someone. So it’s pretty situational, but if the situation does come up, you’ll be very happy to have it.
I would absolutely take it if you are doing a campaign that is commonly in deep dark caves or in the Underdark. Or if you have a Warlock that likes to cast Darkness with Devil's Sight for easy advantage. Having the whole party get a way to benefit from Darkness can be really potent.
If you spend a lot of your time in broad daylight with no sources of magical darkness....it might be next to useless in most fights. When it does come up in a few fights with invisible enemies, you'll love, but the rest of the time it will feel like you wasted a feat.
Then again, if you have everything you really wanted for your character, go ahead and grab it. Never hurst to cover all your bases.
Also works thematically with the Gloom Stalker Ranger subclass. Partners with a Warlock in the group and you would be the Tag team champions of the Multiverse. I grab it on all my characters because it’s to late to get it when you have to have it. I associate it as Car Insurance, paying in advance so I don’t have to pay later.

What do folks think of Blind Fighting as a fighting style? Good enough to take Martial Adept for (on a Mono for example)?
