I'm looking for something that will allow me to play a character can take on traits of demons, devils, and possibly other evil things, but mainly devils and with greater difficulty, demons.
I'm almost certain there isn't anything like this in DnD 2014 but I'm not certain about 24, also if you have any ideas on reflavoring, I'd be more than happy to hear them.
Well, there's the spell Tasha's Otherworldly Guise from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, but that's 6th level and only lasts for a minute so it's probably not a great option. You could play a warlock with Pact of the Fiend and just fluff many of your abilities as gaining fiendish traits. Also, Alter Self could be used as well.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
If you want natural weapons the closest would be path of the beast barbarian I think. At third when you rage you can grow natural weapons. It's 2014 but it could work.
If you want demonic or fiendish abilities but not shape warlock works. At 17 you can get true polymorph and become a demon/devil.
Or .. play a tiefling? I mean there's not much shape change going on, I guess.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
You can use disguise self to take of the appearance of a fiend as long as its form is roughly the same as yours. Something like a bearded devil would work for a medium humanoid PC. This would not grant you any actual abilities however.
For abilities as others have said Fiend Warlock gives you abilities from a fiend patron and are therefore somehat fiendlie, you can flavour it more so,
You can also chose particular traints that are devil like and make character options that give you that and flavor it accordingly. Infernal tiefling is the obvious species and would grant you fire resistance and hellish rebuke, but you could also be a red dragonborn and flavor your breath weapon as coming from the hell hound within you.
Well... Tieflings are just humans + fiends so thematically I could flavor it as a tiefling with the appearance of a normal human except for the powers his fiendish heritage has bestowed him.
Biologically, Devils have a small sac that allows them to get promoted. It holds all forms of devils in it so when they do get promoted, the sac bursts forth with the form they've been given. I think I could probably use this to explain his fiendish powers.
Considering this, Sorcerer seems like a good fit, I can reflavor some spells as different parts of devils and maybe demons. (Ex. Entangle as a chain devils chains, or ice knife as an ice devils spear)

Options:
1) Tiefling Druid - (ask your DM to confirm) but in 2024 your Beast Forms can talk, so you could reflavour them as fiends. There are many animal-like demons including abyssal chicken, goat-like Bulzau, ape-like Dretch and Barlgura, bug-like chasme, frog-like hezrou, dog-lik Shoosuva, and pig-like nalfeshee. Same for Yugoloths, there's bug-like, fox-like, and toad-like forms. Devils have some bug-like forms (Ice devils), but also have many goat / bat -like qualities. Combining them with spells like Fire Shield, Ice Spike, Wall of Fire, Fire Storm, Conjure Elemental, and/or with the new 2024 ability to add elemental damage to attacks you could make a reasonable facsimile of various fiends.
2) Wildheart Barbarian - similar to the Druid, you can reflavour the animal-themed abilities as fiend-ish, for race go for Red-Dragonborn for more fire abilities as well as flight. Since you can swap between abilities between rages, your Rage becomes your transformation. Beast Barbarian works ok too, but it is more geared to werewolf theming.
3) Fiend Patron Warlock - lacks transformation abilities but has lots of fiendish abilities and spells, you could use Disguise Self from Mask of Many faces to look fiendish but it definitely has less of the transformational theming than the other options.
4) Draconic Sorcerer - most of their abilities could equally be flavoured as fiendish as draconic. Innate Sorcery has a transformational aspect to it. Combo it with Tiefling for more of a fiendish appearance.

Any ideas on a subclass or spells to reflavor?
