Goliath (fire) Barbarian for levels 1-10 is the best single target damage dealer. You can find numerous builds that prove that out pretty consistently. See Treantmonk's chart here:
Looking at these numbers, I definitely have to second jl8e's concerns. This clearly looks outdated (2014 rules) since blade/tome/chain warlocks are separated out, which is completely inconsequential in 2024 rules.
Looking at Treatmonk's various charts in general (they are legion, apparently) and his commentary reveals that he often optimizes classes very poorly, including giving fighters a shield to wield instead of letting them use any of the (stacking) two-handed or dual-wielding attacking benefits, fighting styles, feats, etc.
None of these - literally none of those shown in this chart - is actually in the top 4, because full spellcasters can do so much more damage consistently with concentration spells starting at level 3. These include flame sphere, dragon's breath, and cloud of daggers which can all be cast from enough range to make maintaining concentration an irrelevant issue.

One free casting of misty step, one free casting of hex, and a +1 to your spellcast8jg ability?
Seems like a pretty good feat. Especially when your running arounf with only 2 spell slots.
Lll
You're a sorcerer. By level 4 there you have another 7 slots to use on Hex. (And 3 of them can be used for Misty Step.) You're not using your spell slots, so free castings are low value.
As these things go, there's no way there aren't better choices of feat.

A simple build is 2 levels warlock, pick up eldritch blast, agonizing blast, and hex.
Everything else is sorcerer, and grab the quickened metamagic option. Cast hex on target, and quickened eldritch blast to double the number of beams.
At sorcerer 4, take fey touched so you can select Hex and get one free casting of the spell.
If most of what you're doing is EB, you have plenty of spell slots to cast hex with, so Fey Touched doesn't seem like the best choice of a feat.

What have I missed? When does a 2024 Bladelock get a third attack?

Devouring Blade at 12th.
Thanks. For some reason, I thought that was one of the invocations that didn't get updated.
