Hi all was just looking for some help with a pvp I’ve got coming up. Basically we are both on board it’s in a blood fields style fight so neither side will be harmed it’s all fine. Saying that does anyone have any advice for me. I’m playing a spelless ranger5/fighter 2 and he’s playing archery warlock(24 teleports one)/wizard 2 bladesinger. He’s got +4 dex and +5 int.does anyone have any idea of how to get past it aside from go first so he can’t activate bladesong. My feats are Sharpshooter,Fey touched and Tough. Thanks in advance to anyone answering
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
And you run, and you run
To catch up with the sun, but it’s sinking
And racingaround
To come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way
But you’re older
Shorter of Breath
And one day closer to death
currently in love with redesigning subclasses send me a message and I will try
Go first is always the answer in D&D pvp. Initiative will be the most important roll. PCs dish out way more damage than they can take, mathematically. So go first, nova and hope you kill them. (If you go first, action surge and get 4 attacks before he can do anything. Profit.) If you don’t, hey, you won initiative, so if you can survive their nova, you’ll get your next turn before they do and and so on.

Thanks. Yeah I thought it might just be go first. I’ve got +9+1d8 initiative so I think I should be alright
