I'm playing a fairy marked blood hunter knowledge cleric multi-class (i randomized a player for this campaign), both my modifiers are intelligence
my stats go like this
str 16/ dex 15/ cons 15/ int 18/ wis 14/ chars 13
(rolled)
is there a specific way to play this kind of class or a way to make this work? It seems super fun and i wanted to give this randomized character build a go! Thanks, any tips helps
Haven’t played the multiclass before, but honestly your party seems fine on healers to me. Healing word is just about the best healing spell there is besides mass cure wounds or heal. On top of that, paladins are great healers. They don’t have healing word, but they do have a pool of healing that doesn’t cost spell slots, and aura of vitality is another top-tier healing spell. If you really want some more healing, I personally would take Healer or Magic Initiate (cleric) at level 4 for a little extra healing. https://100001****/
If you are not sure of what you want to get out the multiclass, then it's probably a bad idea.
Multiclassing without a plan will always make your character weaker than if it had a single class.
With that out of the way, if you want to take two cleric levels to get Channel Divinity because you know there will be a lot of undead, then that's a valid reason.
1. you are a fallen cleric that still worships their god in a futile attempt to regain their favor. maybe a reason your patron renounced you was because you started learning blood magic!
2. your patron is a god of death, war, blood, violence, or something along those lines
3. you are some sort of species that is/was treated horribly (could be the campaigns current setting or a hometown) and was taken in by a group that took pity on you. they raised you to believe that the only way to survive was to rely on yourself --- and only yourself. they taught you how to make your blood into a weapon, told you to never use anything that doesnt belong to you. this could lead to your character being really hesitant to accept literally anything. maybe a god found you and decided "yknow what, i can fix them." i think it has a lot of comedic potential as well as great storytelling material!
hope this helps! <3

Abraca-**** you!
Why do you want to play a bloodhunter-cleric multiclass? What do you want to get out of each of those classes?
I want to maximize my damage but also be able to heal myself, and its mostly for rp as well.
Abraca-**** you!
To maximize damage, you want to swap your INT and WIS stats and you want 5 levels of one class then 5 levels of the other class.
