Mu current favorite class combo is Paladin 1/Celestial Warlock X. Originally, my stat spread was 15/8/15+1/8/8/15+2 with War Caster, +2 Cha, Resilient Con, +2 Con and Boon of Recovery +1 Con.
However, a while back, I was presented with the issue of my Wisdom not being high enough despite a +5 with advantage thanks to my class and species respectfully. I was suggested an alternative: 14, 10, 13+1, 8, 12, 15+2 with War Caster, Mage Slayer +1 Strength, +2 Cha, Resilient: Constitution, and Boon of Recovery +1 Con.
I was told by another that I needed more HP with this build to make it on the front line, but it only adds up to a total of 40 health, so I’m not really sure what to think.
Pick up pact of the blade so you can use charisma on your weapon attacks. Point buy cha to 15, background gives cha +2. Then set str to 15 so you can wear full plate, dump dex to 8 cause your wearing heavy armor, and buy your con to 14.
At paladin 4 take the fey touched feat and +1 cha to 18.
At paladin 6, all.saving throws get +4 from your aura. At paly 8, do a +2 to cha and all saves now get +5 from aura.

You'll be fine.
Just so I understand correctly, you want me to start Warlock 1 for Pact of the Blade and then dive into Paladin the rest of the way?
No. Start with Paladin 1 so you get Heavy Armor proficiency. At level 2 you will multiclass Warlock and you can take Pact of the Blade as an Invocation so you can use your Charisma to make weapon attacks. After that you can go back to Paladin until you get Aura of Protection (+Charisma mod to all saves). From there, your choice is to continue Paladin or return to Warlock, but either way you should max your Charisma at the next ASI (Paladin 8 or Warlock 4). Personally, I like going back to Warlock to try to get to Radiant Soul at Warlock 6. It pairs especially well with Searing Smite since it adds extra damage to the initial hit and the later burning damage.

Start with pally to get heavy armor proficiency. Your strength of 15 wont be great for attacks, but usually level 1 and 2 take one session each.
The 1 level warlock for pact of blade. This allows you to use charisma with your pact weapon.
Then go pally at least until you get aura of protection. That will give you the plus 4 to all saving throws.
From there id eecommend taking 2 more levels of.pally for a +2 cha asi and get +5 to all saves and better weapon attacks.
But you could take 3 more levels of warlock to get the asi.
The question for that asi will be how long will the campaign last. A lot of.campaigns end by level 10. If you go 6 pally and 4 warlock, you will get that +5 cha.od just as the campaign ends.
If campaign is likely to last a bunch more levels then go with whatever is your favorite flavor

That’s the main reason I switched from Fighter/Warlock to Paladin/Warlock. Ok, that clears that up, but I’m still not sure what to do stat wise.

It’s a bit complicated to me right now (I’m just getting over a cold), but I think it makes sense overall. Maybe I need to take the plunge and go with a true multiclass rather than just a dip. Regardless of what I decide, I thank you.
i’m still open for more tips though, particularly as far as my stat spread.

What is the character supposed to do? How do you envision them interacting with the world? I can guess you're playing melee warlock, but there's still a lot of space in there.
(Also, it really doesn't matter at most tables if your character isn't built the "best" way, but until you describe what you're going for, you're just going to get generic advice and people's personal preferences.)

Honestly, it kind of goes against type. I imagined him just strong enough to wear the right armor and struggling/feeling the pressure to do more. He’s not the brightest or most athletic, but can take a hit and prides himself in making other’s feel good.
As far as strategies go, I wanted to utilize Searing Vengeance and the Boon of Recovery’s abilities to recover half your hit-points by getting back as much as possible. However, I’m worried about saving throws.
Don’t get me wrong; I see your logic as far as making a character feel more personable, but I personally tend to strategize first and then build my character based around that. I’m not sure if that makes me a min-maxer or not, but it’s just how I personally enjoy playing.
Like I said, I’m kind of playing against type because I never pictures him being athletic, yet I need a high strength to make the multiclass work. Originally, I wanted a Fighter/Warlock that didn’t need strength, but the abilities of my Celestial Patron went so well with Paladin spells like Divine Favor and Searing Smite that I had to go for it.
