Worth it to take AU Enchantment Adept Feat on Character with no other enchantment spells?

Title more or less says it all. The subtle cast of Enchantment spells is potentially very powerful on the AU Adept feat but is it still worth it if I do not have any other Enchantment spells to cast?

I am working on an Gnome Artificer and leaning into the Spy / Sniper role given the lore around Eberron Zilargo Gnomes. It would be nice to have some enchantment style control spells but it seems like a bit of a waste given I will not have anything else to cast. I plan to eventually take a few Wizard levels but not till Level 15 or 16 so pretty late to get Charm Person. Also no one else in the party has much enchantment magic going on. 

Should I instead take the Conjuration Adept feat and lean into elemental magic? 

Personally, I would go with Conjuration Adept. Even if the only Conjuration spells you ever used were Entangle (from the feat) and Web (on the Artificer spell list), you would have a great pair of control spells along with a nice boost to your Concentration to make sure the spells stick around as long as you need them. 

Thanks - I would probably even use Conjure Animals as a persistent AoE even if I did not move it much. Some of my hesitancy is probably because another party member has conjure animals that refreshes on short rest via Potent Dragonmark and it seems kiinda lame to have two going at once. I could maybe flavor this characters version as more elemental-like but still irks me...

I might even use Conjure Elemental if a BBEG had a vulnerability... [How common are Mummy Lords or Treants?]
