Our DM has announced our group will be going to level 30. I had planned my level 7 to just go level 20 in fighter, but with the additional levels, I am unsure of what to multiclass into. The stats rundown is as follows. Str:16 Dex:10 Con:12 Int:19 (magic item) Wis:11 Cha: 14. I have him set up in heavy armor, greatsword user, and using the warlord homebrew subclass that I will link below. Any fun ideas may be proposed, I just think going level 20 in fighter for the 4 attacks a turn is really useful. Thanks for any feedback. https://www.dndbeyond.com/subclasses/1095-warlord
DDB does not support level 30 characters (the rules do not support level 30 characters).
But as for what multiclasses combo well with fighter... Actually there are a few. (Since you mention INT is 19 using band of intellect, I'm assuming it is naturally too low to multiclass wizard).
Paladin would add to your DPS and support auras sort of fit the warlord theme.
A charisma caster such as bard, sorcerer, or warlock could be a good choice to add support and healing options to your arsenal.
Thanks for the reply, I actually have a 14 in intelligence because of the Warlord subclass. Would you recommend a possible dip into wizard if I can do it? Otherwise, I am thinking of support though I do like the idea of an Aurthr like a story with the Archfey Warlock. Thanks again for any recommendations.
In that case you can go Wizard too. War mage would fit pretty good. Abjuration and evocation are also good subclasses for combat. At this level you should have tons of money to buy and copy scrolls for your spellbook too, so your arsenal will be varied with lots of rituals.
I think the healing and party buffing you can get from bard (probably valor) is the best choice though. If your party already has a high level spell caster of the same or similar class, there won't be much you can do that they can't do better.
