IMHO, playtests need to be very clear on what they are trying to do and not do and present that in a simple straightforward form. I would suggest a single page with a playtest outline, not simply listed in paragraph form so things can get hidden and or missed by people.
Also some playtest docs I have seen have trouble with language; it is not polished "english", the author thinks they are saying one thing but a lot of people think it says something else, text and rules math does not match like the PT group thinks it does. But again this is why some do playtest and others simply use playtest to "crowd source" game design.
I am glad that the next UA doc is coming out and I look forward to see if it fixes any issues present in the first UA or makes those changes make more sense.
A staffer confirmed that the next UA drops tomorrow, Sep 29.
Canto alla vita
alla sua bellezza
ad ogni sua ferita
ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty
To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Confirmed in this tweet too: https://twitter.com/wizards_dnd/status/1575176243108270080?s=46&t=EAgTCvjfizv2JmD-v5RVgw

Now the question is just what time will it drop? Come on WotC, I'm bored at work!
