I have really enjoyed Mike Mearle's Happy Hour spins on creating psionic flavored sub classes. This approach really helps to promote psionics without the need to introduce a new class dynamic. I strongly encourage that these be fleshed out and push through UA, play test, and official release. The foundation for this approach can be seen with the release of the Gith and their innate abilities.
The question is not whether D&D gets psionics, but when. It's definitely on their radar, which is why the Franchise Creative Director (Mearls) spends so much time working on it and talking about it.
It’s a spell list that you gain access to only if you choose a psionic class. Non-casters pick up and use the cantrips. This class-less spell list can also be used by the mystic. It’s going to be fun diving in on Tuesday. (2/2)

Lets not let Mind Flayers have all the fun!!
Please share as you can. Perhaps if we get enough views, WOTC may seriously consider implementation.

Very true.. Recognize it is coming .. Just anxious.. And making it so we are not dependent on Dark Sun or the Mystic class.

I wrote up a small psionics Sorcerer subclass, made Soul Knife a monk subclass. Swapped out Charisma and Wisdom for Intelligence.
I personally prefer not having a unique class for psionics or artifice, but rather prefer having more subclasses like the GOO warlock.
