I've been reading through the rules. It says that the DC of any spell an Eldritch Knight casts is 8 + Prof Bonus + Int Bonus, and that Spell Attacks are Prof Bonus + Int Bonus...
I don't see anything about a minimum required Int.
Can a Eldritch Knight be 8 or 10 Int or did I miss a line?
I'm not saying your castings would be *good* just that it's possible.
And an eldritch knight with cleverly chosen spells will actually be as effective with 8 int as with 20.
Shield. Magic missile. Haste.
I would actually value constitution more than int because you may want to have one concentration spell up and especially in the case of haste you really don't want to lose it.
well, the answer to this question would depend on if you are multiclassing or not. if this is your first classes archetype, then no, there is no limitation. But... if you multiclass... then the answer is still no, since fighter uses strength i believe for the limitations.

Fighter uses Strength or Dexterity.

Have you purchased the Player's Handbook on D&D Beyond (or just the Eldritch Knight subclass)?
i am linked to my DM's account that bought everything up to like 3 months ago. i am just trying to use the character creator (I used it on paper before), to use from website but it wont even show Eldritch Knight as a martial archetype (lvl 3 Sub-Classing). it only shows the champion archetype.

Are you creating the character in the campaign that has content sharing enabled?

In any of the classes, there is no minimum requirement for the main ability. Theoretically, you can play a wizard with INT 7.
