On occasion I like to use a simple word or phrase in English in Google translate to come up with something more interesting sounding. In this case, I translated "judgment" as Beurteilung in German, Julgamento in Portuguese, and Breitheanas in Scottish Gaelic. Sometimes you even get pronunciation audio clips.

I do this a lot. Sin Eater in German is Sundenfresser.
You can make up a backstory about how it was originally a simple farming scythe. And during some particularly brutal war or something a paladin of Torm called Keanu was the last surviving member of his squad assigned to protect a border town. With his sword broken and his allies dead grabbed the abandoned scythe and held back hundreds of goblins while the townspeople ran. Torm saw this and rewarded him, imprinting his personality and memories to the weapon.
I need a name for a Lawful Good Scythe (reskinned Greataxe) and I'm having trouble coming up with something cool. Looking for ideas.
The weapon wishes to bring law and order to the land by bringing an end to chaotic and evil entities.
Was thinking something cooler than just "Justice" or "Peacekeeper". Something that has a little more personality.
Deathsickle? (This is a joke one.)
How about Death-Reaver, The Blade of Justice, Order's Razor, [insert deity/demigod of justice's name] Will, etc.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
