The app is essentially a separate store front hosted by Google/Apple, and Google/Apple takes a 30% cut of the revenue. The middle man needs to be paid for the convenience they provide, so if you do not want to pay middle man prices, then it is best to go directly to the manufacturer (Beyond's website in this case) and pay the manufacturer directly. If Beyond offers a sale on their app too, it is probably very likely that they would be losing money instead of making money.
I don't think so. The gift cards for Google or Apple are for them who then compensate WotC. The website is WotC. Different companies getting the money.

Howdy?
I'm just wondering why the current sale prices aren't reflected in the marketplace in the D&D Beyond app? Everything there is still full price.
Thanks!

Wondering if it would be possible to buy giftcards in the app and use them on the website then 🤔
I would certainly love that as I could buy it with my excess call money and still enjoy the bundles :)
