What's the little "L" to the right of a monster's name?

Dumb question, but when you look at a beholder, what's the "L" mean to the right of the name (you have to open the page, not just mouseover)?

 edit: I see it on a few other monsters as well....does it mean it has Lair actions?? That's my only guess.

I believe it means Legendary (as in, it has Legendary Actions).
