I have a few players that made characters in the campaign using all my unlocked content. If they leave that campaign will they loose all the stuff they add to there characters? And what happens when they come back to a new campaign... with the shared content stuff come back? I hope they don't need to redo there character every time the come and go.
characters don't lose content that has been shared with them, when they leave the campaign that shared it - they will be however unable to make further advancements with that content.
As an example, say a character was created in your campaign and selected the Hexblade warlock subclass and advanced to 8th level, then left the campaign.
The character would still function, however when they level up, they will be unable to gain new features from that subclass, as they no longer have access to it via the shared campaign. If the character is once more added to a campaign that has the Hexblade as part of its shared content, then they could continue to advance.
Thank you so much... that is exactly what I want to here. That will help me get more players to come with fear of loosing all the stuff they had. I sure do love D&D Beyond!!!

Those characters will keep the information they have when leaving the campaign.
Hi there RavenFrost,

I hope that helps!
