So wizard magic is different than warlock magic, just because they are on the same spell list doesn't mean you can copy them over. But if a Wizard copies a Pact of Chain Warlock's find familar spell, out of the ritual caster feat "spellbook", is the spell formula changed to include the new forms? Does that grant the wizard these forms? Does it prohibit transcription? I know there are ways to expand the familiar list, dm discretion for winged cats and horned bunnies, homonculi, Spectator stalker, making a gazer out of said stalkers corpse. But is this one of them? How would you get a Pact of the Chain familiar... without any levels in Warlock, hypothetically if it were possible?
The Find Familiar spell granted by Pact of the Chain is no different from any other version of the spell. Instead, the Pact of the Chain feature is what modifies it. Without that feature, a Wizard uses the unmodified version with the standard list of eligible familiars.
The only legal way a single-classed Wizard can have an alternate familiar is using the Variant rule listed for a number of monsters, including Imps, Pseudodragons, and Gazers. This is entirely the purview of the DM.
