I'm starting to think there won't be a discount code that works for TCoE before it comes out.
I know there is no requirement that there be one, but there always has been for every book I've preordered (which is every book that has come out) since Oct 2018.
I think it might come after release, just to get those sitting on the fence to buy it. They lose out on pre-order bonus but save a little more greenmail instead which is usually about 5 bucks I believe.

Maybe, but my point was this is the first book that has come out in over 2 years that didn't have a discount before release.
I don't mind paying the extra 5$, but I was just checking that the trend is broken.
I don't think Rime of the Frostmaiden had a specific pre-order discount. They happened to have a sale that included a discount for the pre-order IIRC, at least that's how I got mine at a discount.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
I would suspect discounts would be considered unnecessary for a product so clearly "wanted" by the player base and so universal in its application. Other recent books were much more specific in scope, and thus less desirable overall.
Yeah, I think DDB moved away from "codes" to just publicizing their sales on social media and having discounts automatic to everything eligible in the marketplace during that window. It reduces customer service complaints about codes not working (because they expired months or years ago) and doesn't put consumers on code hunts which can take the unwary to some cyber unsanitary places on the web.

Last dev update Bradford said they might extend the bonuses for buying the book.
Black Friday sales are just around the corner.

I heard that here you can share discount codes is there any new information on that topic
Haven't heard about or seen codes in an age. There will be a substantial discount on Cyber Monday though.
