Aetherborb are not an offical srace, and would not be undead if they were, so I can't understand anything your saying.

Are you talking about the Dhampir/Reborn Lineages in Van Richten's? The only thing they don't overwrite is size and movement, so other than taking a race with a swim of fly speed there isn't anything to "combine".
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.

Maybe you could do something like the scabs from innistrad.
