I have vision problems, so I can't read regular books now. The books I can get here in the marketplace, how do they display in browser? Are they like scanned in with white page backgrounds (I can't read text on a white background at all). Didn't want to start spending money on them if I can't read any of it.
They're not scanned, they're linked hypertext docs. The background is white though. The https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules are free and they have the same colour palette, so you can check if that's readable to you. But at a guess, if you can read posts on these forums you should be fine reading the books here too.
Cool. Only reason I can read posts on pretty much any site is a add-on for my browser that allows me to override website colprs. So every site for me has black backgrounds and white text. That like you showed works fine so I will get my books here. Thanks.

The app has three options for the background/text as well, even a darkmode.
I know the phone/tablet screen is smaller but if you use a pc you can also emulate your phone on the bigger screen through the pc.
