A player created 2 characters in a campaign of mine and I deactivated one of them to “clean up”. I accidentally deactivated the wrong one. Can I bring it back? Or does he have to build a new one from scratch?
What do you mean by "deactivate"? If you mean "remove from campaign", you can just have him use the link again. If you mean "delete", you're in trouble.

I'm sure he means the "Deactivate" button on a character's card in the Campaign Management UI. It's not clear what this does, since there is already a big red "Remove" button next to it and it certainly doesn't say "Delete".
I still think we need a Help section (with these things gathered together, perhaps in a FAQ form?) or explanatory Tooltips for these things. :p
I mean, I know they're explained some place or another somewhere in the forums or helpful videos, and what not, but a new arrival on the site won't know where to look.
I have a character that is fighting witha. Demon's soul for his body and at any given time one might take over and I play as the character in control. One body two statblocks. Efficient multiclassing without multiclassing

Just click the “Reactivate” link that now shows in place of the Deactivate link.

So I haven't clicked it yet, but what does the deactivate actually do?
It means the character stays in the campaign, but can't be used and doesn't take up one of the 12 campaign slots.
There are various reasons for doing this - perhaps a dead character that might get raised/resurrected in future.

I have deactivated a character and see no reactivate option, has this been changed?
