My Wizard has a familiar that I wanted a general description of and his stat block right on the character sheet. I therefore created a magic item called "NPC Familiar: Pseudodragon" . I then copied the NPC stat block from the Monster compendium and pasted it into the description. It will look like crap in the magic item list, but when it is shown on the NPC page it will look exactly like a monster stat block. I then added text above it.
In addition I flagged it as Legendary so it would stand out and under the "Additional Information" section flagged "has charges" set it to 1 - Other.
Now I can Use the item so it shows in my list, and I can toggle it as Used or not so I know if he's summoned or not :)\
Hope that helps you guys!

That's a beautiful idea and can make it easy to take druid animal forms. Well done good sir!
