Is there going to be a content filter for Spelljammer? I currently do not see one on the home step, is it just not implemented yet? Technically its an extension of every setting (given how crystal spheres work), but my question remains the same. More content filters are better than less.
Probably won't be since it is considered core content and falls under that. Most of the filters pertain to non-core content like R&M, CR, and Homebrew stuff.
I personally think the lack of ability to choose what setting/adventure content is visible on a general level is quite annoying. I keep getting asked for obscure adventure magic items cause one of my players owns everything and its automatically shared with everyone in the campaign. Same goes for druids and wildshape, and spells that summon creatures, my players keep choosing whacky adventure monsters because they fit the CR and creature type parameters.
It's clearly possible to make filters, i just don't understand why they cant go a step further and let us filter out content from any source. It would be great if we could choose between simple content filters like what we have now, or swap to an advanced one where we could white- or blacklist content by sourcebook.
On the topic of those toggles, we get roughly 50/50 feedback on adding more vs getting rid of them.
One thing that is clear though, is that there should be a better way of constructing a campaign, that defines which content is valid for that campaign.

Have them be auto-on and possibly in a submenu hidden away or something. I don't see why there's a reason to not have them beyond the effort implementing them. I wouldn't use them, but I can see why they'd be useful to others and I can't think of a reason to not have them beyond "I don't use them therefore nobody else should have the option".

Updated for relevance.

No filter for Fizban's.
No filter for Ravensloft...
Sorta a pattern there.
Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.

Yup, we hear you.

Anybody who wants less filers is, well, wrong.
Set the filters to be ON (meaning the content they filer is shown) by default and 100% of those individuals are satisfied.
ALWAYS have more options.
NEVER have less options.
