Will DND Beyond allow people that make home brew content sell their content on DND Beyond?
I am Patreon subscriber to some creators and would love to buy into their stuff on DnD Beyond instead of having to manually inputting it each time I want an item. This would also go for items invented on Critical Role and other stream sites?
DnDBeyond has an agreement with WotC to sell their content. Any agreement between this site and a third party would have to involve WotC and that can be tricky. Additionally, I would advise against trying to replicate third party content as it could raise copyright concerns.
To clarify, you're fine using the homebrew tools to create content from 3rd parties for your own use - you may NOT publish them to the community though, as this is a breach of copyright.
To reopen this topic, I spent a lot of time creating a monster series and the OGL license led me to believe I could potentially sell my content either to WotC, or through this site. Is that possible or did I misunderstand the terms of the OGL?

You did misunderstand.
I am not totally up to date on things, but here you cannot sell anything unless you are WOTC.
You can go to DMsGuild which has a revenue share agreement and rules for stuff like this: https://www.dmsguild.com/
Or you can go to several dozen other sites I don't know the info for but I am sure that long term, thousands of posts folks are aware of.

The short answer is most likely no.
