You know I just don't think i am a fan of these 3 book sets. Maybe planescape will pull it off, but i kind of feel the book Sigil and the outlands could use the page count from all 3 of the books so when you cut it down to 1/3 the size and spread it out with an adventure and some monsters it dilutes the core of the setting. Yeah whatever more monsters can help build the setting I get that and so can an adventurer. But it feels like the core lore that really lets a DM work with a setting is just getting shorted. I just did not feel like I had much to work with with spell jammer. I have my 2e stuff so I pulled that out to flesh it out but without it that is a lot of setting heavy lifting dropped onto the DM. Not all of us are professional streamer DMs so our time might not be available for that.
Give me one meaty 240 page book, a 40 page pdf supplement of monsters and a separate adventure.(and just make it levels 1-17, not levels 1-10 with a weird jump to 17. Or better yet have a adventure path that gets you to level 20.) Do one thing good instead of 3 things mediocre.
