I enjoy playing atypical characters that don't necessarily meet expectations or min/max the stats or are even expected.
I once played a Female Gnome Barbarian. Her favorite attack was to slide between the legs of an opponent while striking the groin with her axe and yelling her battle cry.
What unexpected and memorable characters have you played?
I spent two years playing a bard goblin named Puke. Had no musical ability at all, I swapped all his instrument proficiencies for other tools and leaned into the skill monkey aspects. The only entertainment ability he had was performative torture
