So last few days and what are you excited to see about the new PHB? Myself I'm excited about the newer options, and to see how they work on characters. On a side note how long due you think till summon minor elemental gets errata?
I am just excited to read the book! I do not plan to use it anytime soon, but in the games I DM if a player wants to use the new rules I will accomodate them as long as it doesn't break anything and they have the book shared with me. Rule of cool and all! But I will not be using them personally if that makes sense.

CENSORSHIP IS THE TOOL OF COWARDS and WANNA BE TYRANTS.
Yea, when I saw the announcement in D&D Direct that the Local Game Shops will get the book early and be allowed to sell it early, I was very excited.
I was planning on going to my LGS anyway as I wanted to buy the Alternate Cover Version of the PHB, and now that I can get it on the 3rd, I'm very excited.
We will not be incorporating the new rules into the Campaign we started months ago, but will eventually start using them for One-Shots and planning new Campaigns.
Cheers!

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
I've only just started the campaigns I DM in the last couple of months so probably no big changes for me but I might look at the conditions and exhaustion rules and think about switching just because the 2014 exhaustion especially is such a pain to remember I'd be happy with anything easier

Wait! Is this starting with the new PHB?
How did I miss that?!?
Yes. Game stores are meant to have the hard copy PHB for sale (standard and alternate covers) Tuesday. I’d recommend calling and pre-ordering if you’re sure you want it. Some places will likely sell out. And some may even do a midnight release.

Technically I think it started with Vecna: Eve of Ruin, but yes, this is a very cool new thing I'm excited we're doing :D

I'm at DragonCon currently and really wish it could be just a couple days earlier so we could use the new rules while we're here. GenCon got it early, why can't we? 🥺
