Mages are cool and fun to play as, so whenever I play a character in a campaign I always make them a mage, I love the idea of no matter what weapon you have you can build up and release powerful and magical attacks, its really great and it also gives great storyline and lore like how they became a mage or how they discovered their magic. Honestly a really fun role 10/10 I recommend
With a few exceptions, I have had a LOT of fun playing many of the classes in D&D.
With magic flowing through the universe, there are so many ways that magic affects different classes.
Casters are great, and really fun to play for many people. I really like a combination of caster and melee as it opens up so many different flavor options.
Additionally, I'm glad there are so many ways and styles to mix-n-match with, and I think that is what makes each player so different from one another.

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
